The World is Awakening (to the Realization that Cats are to be Worshipped as Gods)

This week I stumbled upon two pieces of evidence that indicates that humans are transcending to a higher level of spiritual and intellectual consciousness.

1. The National Cat Awards

Did you watch the promo video? The one right here-- above this text? The one that passionately showcases previous Cats of the Year? With the strange collaboration of awkward, what's sex? cat loving people?

Awesome.

And proof that I'm not the only person who keeps a ziplock bag full of her cats' kitten fur in a keepsake box with the words "grab this if the building is on fire" written on the front with a Sharpie.

2. The Internet Cat Video Film Festival

I've written many, many, many times about my aspirations to be a professional kitty herder on my own cat sanctuary called Everyday is Caturday.

Similar to how our societal values are strengthening with our expanding preoccupation with kitties, so is my life direction. Not only will I someday be a professional kitty herder on a cat sanctuary, but I will also work towards becoming  a member of the board of Internet Cat Video Critics.

Hell, maybe I'll become the CEO of a catvertising agency.

The future is wide open.
